History and description of the work
It was a simple commission, working on which ended up taking longer due to the complications, stress, and restrictions during the Covid epidemic.
The theme is an abstract landscape with birch trees, a stream running through the forest, and a hunter in the background. Runes from the old Futhark should be subtly visible in the painting. A setting sun was part of the assignment.
This work is an oil painting, where I combine a pasty technique with glaze. No additives were used to accelerate the hardening and drying of the paint. Everything was preserved and the final work was framed.
