What was it all about?

No need to make it complicated. One time, a friend of mine whom I’ve known since elementary school came to me, said that he played with the metal band called Nazgul and needed to design their logo and an album cover. So he hired me. And despite the brutal deadline, it was my artistic duty to squeeze out the best I could do for him.

What was the assignment and how did it go?

The assignment was simple. The old friend who contacted me needed some graphics for his band, from a logo to an album cover, within a super tight time, which was fourteen days. The job ended up taking much longer and I didn’t have a chance to use all of my recently acquired new experience, but I still did my best, despite being a hyperdetailist and not having enough time to apply all my skills. The commission consisted of several parts: drawing a logo in the form of the Nazgul helmet from the Lord of the Rings book, creating a short logo made of letters, designing a complete Nazgul lettering in two versions, and preparing analogue graphics for the whole album.
