The intended impression
Everybody’s experienced it at some point. That feeling when something had been lovely until one discovered the side of it that is absolutely loathsome, making the whole fairytale impression fade away. No one and nothing is perfect – every person and thing has its flaws, no matter what we want to think about it. This piece is part of the collection of three drawings with The Rotten Inside theme, depicting a beautiful girl with her shadow side.
The unknown fate of the work
This drawing was unfortunately stolen by an unknown offender during an exhibition at the Faculty of Fine Arts. The work has not been found yet.
