Description and history
The artwork Souls of the Hell Rocks is a simple one-off drawing, an unusual creation for my personal taste, as I rarely finish my works at the level of a simple sketch. Usually it’s not my style – I prefer to spend the time working on more complex creations. Well, here’s an exception.
The idea of this drawing was simple, and that was to create a composition of empty space with the motif of deceased human souls turning into inhuman instead of just getting consumed and disappearing somewhere in the underworld. This could be the influence of hell as a manifest of the insatiable desire for eternal life, in spite of the death of a physical shell.
