Flesh and bones
This drawing honors of the book Who Goes There? by John W. Campbell, mainly its film adaption, The Thing by John Carpenter released in 1982. It is about the joy of evergoing development and transformation from one form to another. About cracking and breaking of bones under the unceasing and unpredictable flow of muscular growth.
History of the artwork
It is one of my first ink drawings, before I embraced this technique fully. The drawing subsequently became very popular, featured at various events such as the Infernalismus gatherings and numerous small exhibitions.
